Hello, I’m Oğulcan Taşlı. I’ve been working as a production engineer at Dönmez Clutch for about a year. Besides engineering, sailing yachting has been one of the many different sectors I’ve experienced in my life. I began this adventure in preparatory school at university and continued it with dedication until my senior year.
Sailing from University to the Seas: My Personal Sailing Yacht Adventure
The sea is a symbol of boundless freedom and adventure. One of the most elegant ways to experience this freedom is to travel the seas on a sailing yacht. I entered the magical world of sailing yachts during my university years, and this adventure led me not only to the sea but also to my personal growth.
Encountering Sailing During University: Let me begin by telling you how my passion for the sea influenced me during my university years. I remember the first time I saw a sailing yacht, the wind filling its sails, making it appear like a dancing figure. At that moment, the magic of the sea enveloped me.
My University Sailing Team Experience: During my university years, my discovery of sailing wasn’t just a curiosity. By joining the university sailing team, I took this passion one step further. Participating in races was a time when I felt the thrill of being one with the sea and embarking on a journey driven by the wind.
Teaching Sailing Lessons to Students: I had the opportunity to share my sailing knowledge and experience. During my university years, we began offering sailing lessons to introduce sailing yachts to more students and help them become acquainted with the sea. Every moment I spent with students was an opportunity to share the magic of the sea and sailing with them.
Personal Development and Friendship: My journey with sailing yachts was shaped not only by the sea but also by my personal growth.
The challenging moments at sea helped develop my leadership skills and strengthen my ability to collaborate within a team. Furthermore, the friends I met through the university sailing team were one of the elements that made this adventure even more meaningful and special.
